The Uf/IFAS Certified Crop Advisers Training Program will offer the required 40 CEUs for the CCA Certification in two consecutive years covering 10 CEUs each in- Soil and Water, Crop Management, Nutrient Management and Pest Management. Each year two sessions (Spring and Fall) will be offered as follows-

Spring: Soil and Water- 5.0 CEUs  and Crop Management- 5.0 CEUs

Fall: Nutrient Management- 5.0 CEUs  and Pest Management- 5.0 CEUs.

The speakers are drawn from UF faculty across the state, from the state agencies and also out of state to provide high value and timely information to our professionals covering priority, latest research, and emerging topics, while revisiting basics as necessary.

These session used to be offered earlier in person simultaneously at five different IFAS locations in the state via videoconferencing. However, due to Covid-19 this year, out of an abundance of caution in a wholly precautionary way, these sessions are now being offered through UF/IFAS Center for Online Learning and Technology (COLT) using the academic portal Canvas. This mode of information delivery is effective and is accessible at convenience over a period of 31 days. There is an opportunity to provide comments and offer feedback on each of these presentations. Suggestions on emerging and priority topics are always accepted. The modules will be individually evaluated for effectiveness, clarity and relevance each time.
